While the ASIP Planning Committee is carefully monitoring and assessing the COVID-19 situation and state protocols daily, we will be moving forward with hosting the event as scheduled. However, a “Virtual Attendance/Presenter” option will also be available to the community.
The ASIP Planning Committee recognizes that challenges posed by COVID-19 might present barriers for some of those interested in presenting and attending in the traditional format. The Virtual Attendance/Presenter option will allow those people to participate and hopefully enable a greater participation across the entire ASIP community. We are excited to offer this option to accomplish ASIP’s mission of helping aerospace professionals and their organizations, both domestic and international, to succeed.

Why add “Virtual Attendance”?
Recognizing that some attendees (domestic and international) might have difficulty attending ASIP 2020 in person, adding the option of a Virtual Attendance will enable greater participation from our ASIP community and create opportunities to attract presenters and participants from outside the typical aerospace community.

Networking opportunities with other attendees, groups, our sponsors and exhibitors will also be made available to all Onsite and Virtual Attendees thru our App.
Attendance at the 2020 ASIP Conference implies that a non-local attendee is staying at the Headquarters Hotel, the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown. All meeting space, food and beverage, audio visual equipment, etc., is supplied by the Headquarters Hotel at pre-negotiated and contracted prices reliant on hotel room usage. These negotiated numbers are used in the financial detail to determine the attendance registration fee. Not meeting this contracted hotel room usage would result in a sizeable financial penalty to the ASIP Conference that would ultimately cause a rise in Conference Registration fees to all attendees. Therefore, any non-local attendee choosing to stay at alternate hotels will be subject to additional fees prior to the conference.
Attendees are required to wear ID badges throughout the Conference General Session, Training Courses and Exhibit Hall. ID badges are not transferable, and ASIP reserves the right to withdraw a badge used to gain admission to the Exhibition / Conference by any person other than the one for whom it was issued.
Attendee lists will be distributed 2-3 weeks after the Conference close to all participants of the event. If you do not wish for your information to be published, please make sure you indicate as such on the registration form.
Please Note: Individuals attending ASIP may be recorded or photographed during the course of the meeting, and by attending grant permission for their likenesses and the content of their comments, if any, to be broadcast, webcast, published, or otherwise reported or recorded.
